About the role
You will own marketing surfaces and the client audit journey — from engagement intake to report delivery — working with engineers so what ships matches Orion's position as a smart contract security company.
Responsibilities
- Lead product design for custody, settlement, and attestation workflows — flows, states, and edge cases
- Build and maintain a coherent design system that engineers can implement faithfully in React
- Shape brand expression across web surfaces so Orion feels distinct and institutional-grade
- Prototype rapidly, test with design partners, and refine based on operational feedback
- Partner with engineering early on feasibility, density, and motion — design is a team sport here
Requirements
- Portfolio showing complex product systems handled with clarity and restraint
- Strength in interaction design for data-dense or high-stakes tools
- Ability to create and evolve design systems used by real engineering teams
- Excellent communication — you can defend decisions and absorb critique without ego
- Comfort working directly in a fast founding environment with ambiguous problem statements
Nice to have
- Experience designing for fintech, developer tools, or security products
- Motion design skills that improve comprehension rather than decorate
- Familiarity with designing for React component constraints
- Prior work on brand systems for technical or B2B companies
