Senior Smart Contract Auditor (Foundry)

RemoteFull-timeFully remote
SolidityFoundryEVM

Deliver deep Foundry-backed audit work — invariants, fuzz campaigns, and PoCs that turn subtle Solidity bugs into actionable findings.

Remote

Fully remote. Prefer meaningful overlap with audit leads and clients during active engagements.

Compensation

Competitive cash + meaningful founding equity

About the role

You extend Orion's audit bench with elite Foundry practice: building harnesses, fuzzing stateful systems, and validating fixes. You spend most of your time on client engagements, not shipping Orion-owned protocol products.

Responsibilities

  • Execute manual review on assigned audit modules and integration surfaces
  • Build Foundry fuzz and invariant suites to stress client logic during engagements
  • Document reproducible exploit paths and recommended remediations
  • Re-review client patches during remediation phases
  • Improve shared audit templates and testing patterns for the team

Requirements

  • Deep Solidity / EVM fluency — storage layout, call semantics, and gas economics are second nature
  • Audit or security review experience on production smart contracts
  • Strong testing discipline with Foundry including fuzzing and invariant strategies
  • Clear writing in reports and finding descriptions
  • Bias toward evidence — every critical claim backed by a PoC or trace

Nice to have

  • DeFi, bridges, or governance-heavy codebase experience
  • Experience with formal verification tooling (Certora, Halmos, or similar)
  • Familiarity with account abstraction, multicall patterns, or cross-chain messaging risks
  • Published audit writeups or disclosed vulnerabilities

Benefits

  • Meaningful founding equity
  • Flexible PTO and remote-first culture
  • Budget for audits, tooling, and security conferences
  • Home-office stipend and hardware signing kit
  • Health coverage as we formalize benefits
  • Optional team gatherings in hub cities
